Cleveland Ranked #1 in Tech Job Growth In a recent article in the Bloomberg News, Cleveland was ranked #1 nationally as a city with the biggest growth in tech jobs. Cleveland has experienced a 107% growth in the tech sector and companies such as Deloitte & Touche and IBM are looking to hire. The skills required for those jobs include systems integration, software engineering, and project management.
As the unemployment rate for the U.S. reached 9.2 percent in June, the unemployment rate for tech professionals dropped to 3.3 percent, from 5.3 percent in January according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
